Astor Media has reported a strong uplift in traffic across its newly acquired automotive titles, with Google Analytics data showing a 103% increase in page views and a 101.4% rise in users across Business Vans, Business Motoring and Motor Trade News during the first 28 days of ownership.
Motor Trade News recorded the largest gains, with page views up 134.5% and users up 114.5% compared to the same period in February 2025. Year-on-year, the brand is now up 136.6% in page views and 118.3% in total users, marking a major turnaround in engagement.
The increase follows an overhaul of editorial output, site structure, and news volume across all three brands, with a renewed focus on daily content, SEO performance, and clearer user experience.
Felix Blakeston, operations director at Astor Media, said: “We’ve focused on getting the basics right -consistent content, improved site performance, and a steady drumbeat of news. These results show what can happen when you give established brands the attention and energy they need. It’s a really encouraging start.”
Jessica Bird, editorial director at Astor Media, added: “We’ve seen an immediate and enthusiastic response from readers and industry stakeholders. There’s clearly appetite for more timely, useful content in this space, and the team has done a fantastic job raising the standard so quickly. The uplift in traffic shows we’re heading in the right direction.”
Astor Media acquired the brands earlier this month as part of a wider push into automotive and mobility publishing. Further developments – including new features, newsletters and brand partnerships – are planned in the months ahead.
