The Intermediary set for record-breaking month in advertising revenue

The Intermediary is on track to record its strongest-ever month for commercial revenue, entering April with more advertising already secured than in any previous month.

Advertising bookings are currently up 40% compared to April 2024, with both digital and print sales contributing to the growth. It marks a new milestone for the title and reinforces its role as the leading platform for lenders and providers targeting the intermediary market.

Helen Thorne, finance director at Astor Media, said: “This is a significant result. We’ve seen consistent momentum in recent months, but to enter a new month with this level of revenue already secured is a first. It reflects the growing confidence advertisers have in The Intermediary’s reach and influence.”

Ryan Fowler, managing director of Astor Media and publisher of The Intermediary, added: “It’s encouraging to see so many lenders and stakeholders not only backing the brand, but planning ahead with multi-channel campaigns. This isn’t just a one-off peak – it’s part of a pattern we’ve been building towards for over a year. We’re proud of what the team has achieved.”

The Intermediary has continued to grow its audience, with digital traffic, newsletter engagement and LinkedIn reach all rising in Q1.
