Stamp duty, second charge lending and broker insights in latest issue of The Intermediary

The Intermediary has published issue 25 of its monthly print magazine, with the latest edition offering brokers in-depth coverage of current market developments and events shaping the mortgage landscape.

This issue explores how recent stamp duty changes are impacting buyer behaviour, lender strategy, and the wider property market.

It also features a Q&A with Ivan Vizor, offering practical advice for brokers looking to get the most value from the UK Mortgage Convention, which takes place this month at the Science Museum in London.

Elsewhere, the magazine includes an exclusive interview with Equifinance, examining the state of the second charge market, borrower trends, and how the sector is evolving in response to economic pressures.

Jessica Bird, editorial director Astor Media and managing editor of The Intermediary, said: “This issue tackles some of the key questions on brokers’ minds—how stamp duty is influencing the market, what to expect from the UK Mortgage Convention, and how second charge lending is faring in a challenging environment. As always, our aim is to provide content that is both current and genuinely useful.”

Issue 25 is available in print to subscribers, with the digital edition now live at theintermediary.co.uk.
