Skoda Elroq review leads stepped-up pre-Christmas test activity

Astor Media’s automotive portfolio has begun a faster run of review publications in the lead up to Christmas, following a sustained period of test activity and new model evaluations.

The first of the stepped-up releases is Adrian Simpson’s review of the Skoda Elroq 60 Edition, now live across Business Motoring and Motor Trade News.

Simpson finds the Elroq to be a lighter and more confident proposition than its Enyaq sibling, with a mature cabin, stronger use of space and performance aimed squarely at predictable day-to-day use.

Its 63 kWh battery, 0-60 time of 7.6 seconds and 250-mile range place it firmly in SME and fleet territory, while Skoda’s updated design language gives the model a clearer identity.

Tom Watts, operations director, automotive at Astor Media, said: “We’ve had a strong run of test activity recently, so speeding up publication in the build up to Christmas allows us to share more of that work while interest is high.

“It means readers get a broader spread of insight at a time when many are planning for the year ahead.”

Two further reviews will follow in short succession, forming an end-of-year push to deliver broader road test coverage to SME, fleet and trade audiences across the automotive portfolio.
