Business Motoring’s Skoda Enyaq review highlights evolution of electric SUVs

Business Motoring has published the latest instalment in its expanding video review series, with editor at large Adrian Simpson driving the all-electric Skoda Enyaq.

Building on the format launched earlier this month, the new episode forms part of Astor Media’s broader investment in automotive video content across its B2B portfolio.

The Enyaq review follows Simpson’s recent on-camera review of the Genesis G80, with further models due to feature over the coming months.

In the episode, Simpson assesses the Enyaq’s refinement, practicality and fleet credentials, framing it as a clear step forward for a brand once known more for value than polish. “The world has changed, and Skoda is now mentioned in the same breath as Audi,” he says, reflecting on the shift in perception.

The review scores the Enyaq 8 out of 10 overall, with strong marks for comfort, practicality and value. With a WLTP range of up to 268 miles and a 3% BIK rate for 2025/26, the Enyaq presents a compelling option for business and benefit-in-kind users alike.

Tom Watts, operations director – automotive at Astor Media, said: “This format has been really well received so far and we’ve had some great conversations with manufacturers following our review of the Genesis.

“It’s great to see Adrian back behind the wheel, our aim is to create reviews that are relevant to the business motoring audience, while adding something fresh to how we tell those stories.”

The video review series sits alongside Business Motoring’s broader editorial coverage, including fleet insights, SME-focused road tests and commercial vehicle content.

It forms part of a group-wide push to expand digital formats across Astor’s automotive division, which includes Business Vans, Motor Trade News, Leasing Broker News, The Haulier, and Motorcycle Dealer.
