Business Motoring and Business Vans Awards to return as live event in 2026

Astor Media has confirmed that the Business Motoring Awards and Business Vans Awards will return in 2026 as a dedicated sit-down event, restoring both titles to a live format after several years online.

The awards, which hold a long-standing place in the industry calendar, were moved to a digital-only format during the pandemic and remained so prior to Astor’s acquisition of the brands in 2025.

Their return to an in-person setting is part of Astor Media’s wider investment in quality, visibility and sector focus, and is designed to re-establish the status these awards have historically held across the corporate fleet sector.

The 2026 ceremony will recognise the standout vehicles, superior product and service providers and leading innovators who are re-shaping the automotive landscape, and who are seen as best-in-class in their field of expertise.

Entries will open in the coming months, with the event scheduled for later in the year.

Ryan Fowler, managing director of Astor Media and publisher of both titles, said: “We see these awards as an essential part of how the brands serve their sectors.

“There are a huge number of providers doing excellent work in the corporate fleet sector, and our awards will give them the platform and recognition they deserve.

“Since taking over the titles, we’ve focused on rebuilding that credibility and momentum. The return of the live awards is a natural next step.”

Stuart Wakeling, head of sales – automotive at Astor Media, added: “Our ambition has always been to return the coveted Business Motoring and Business Vans Awards to a physical setting, and this announcement represents a welcome step forward in delivering on that objective.

“The ability to provide high-value networking opportunities, alongside sponsorship, product placement and premium brand association, will deliver meaningful value for both attendees and the commercial partners we support, firmly placing our awards as a ‘must attend’ event in the annual fleet awards line up.

Martin Davies, group events director at Astor Media, concluded: “This is a chance to bring the industry together in person and create something that reflects the energy and ambition of the automotive sector.

“We’re already working on the format and look forward to delivering a great event for all involved.”

Further announcements about venue, categories and entry details will follow in the coming months. For more information or to register a sponsorship enquiry, please email Stuart Wakeling at stuart.wakeling@astormedia.co.uk.
