Astor Media has announced that Brian West has been appointed permanently as group sales director.
The role sees West take responsibility for commercial strategy and delivery across the company’s entire portfolio, following a successful interim tenure.
His remit includes The Intermediary, Workplace Journal, Business Motoring, Business Vans, Motor Trade News, Leasing Broker News, The Haulier, Motorcycle Dealer and Touring.co.uk, as well as oversight of commercial partnerships linked to the Leasing Broker Federation.
West will also lead the commercial direction of Astor Media’s upcoming digital projects.
These include the launch of a new digital-first automotive magazine and the recent introduction of video review formats across the motoring portfolio, working closely with head of automotive sales Stuart Wakeling to support advertisers and drive new opportunities.

The appointment also includes support for Workplace Journal as it explores potential live event opportunities in 2026, expanding its reach within the HR, people and workplace sectors.
