Astor Media hosts first automotive round table ahead of digital magazine launch

Astor Media has held its first automotive round table in preparation for the launch of its new digital-first magazine later this month.

Chaired by Adrian Simpson, the session brought together key voices from across the automotive industry to discuss the transition to electric vehicles and the practical realities facing fleets, retailers, and consumers.

Participants included Tanya Sinclair from Electric Vehicles UK, Jens-Peter Sjoberg from Phyron, Phil Wilbraham from Pendragon Vehicle management, Debbie Staveley and James Staunton from bClear Communications, Lucia Revell from Monta, Aaron Sweet from waEV, Graham O’Reilly from EV Cables, and Ollie Philpott from Generational.

Jessica Bird, group editorial director at Astor Media, said: “The first round-table really set the tone for what we’re looking to achieve from our events now and in the future – it brought together a variety of industry experts for a rousing discussion about the future of electric vehicle adoption.

“We gathered some great voices from across fleet, retail and charging infrastructure businesses to meet, share their expertise and network. This is the first of many automotive industry events led by the Astor Media team, and we’re all looking forward to the next.”

Brian West, interim sales director at Astor Media, said: “The engagement from everyone involved was outstanding.

“It underlines how valuable it is to create a space where commercial and editorial perspectives come together to tackle the industry’s biggest challenges.”

The round table will form part of a series of discussions to be featured in the forthcoming digital magazine, with future sessions planned around key topics such as fleet electrification, dealer innovation, and finance.
