Astor Media continues to evaluate AI technology across its platforms

Astor Media is continuing to evaluate the use of AI technology across its platforms as part of its broader strategy to improve reader engagement and content personalisation.

The move follows the launch of its AI-powered newsletter in August 2023, which uses adaptive technology to tailor content to individual preferences.

Ryan Fowler, managing director at Astor Media, said: “We are always looking at ways to enhance how we serve our audiences.

“Our AI newsletter has been a valuable step forward in delivering relevant content more efficiently, and we’re keen to explore how similar technologies can further benefit our readers and advertisers across all of our titles.

“It is easy to see bad examples of the use of AI, such as poorly generated images and copy, our aim is to use this technology in a way that supports our offering whilst ensuring the human touch is not eroded.”

The company’s ongoing assessment focuses on ensuring any technology adoption aligns with the needs of its specialist markets, providing practical value while maintaining the quality and integrity of its content.
